Sunday 10am Weekly Meditation & Discussion: Ethics (Sila) with Alex Meyers
This week Alex Meyers will continue the discussion of sila begun last week. We will review the Five Precepts, the moral trainings directed to lay practitioners. For those interested, there were three offerings Alex mentioned last week. We've included links below.
- Common Ground's Buddhist Studies Course (Summer 2022): "Sila: Moral Integrity, Non-harming, and the Bliss of Blamelessness". All sessions are available on Dharmaseed.
- Common Ground's Bimonthly Parami Practice Group: "Cultivating Virtue as a Support for Liberation". You can find the class on Common Ground's calendar. The group begins today (Thursday) at 7pm, and is both in person and over Zoom.
- Spirit Rock's Yearlong Parami Course: "Belonging & Liberation: The Embodied Path of the Paramis." Registration closes on January 30th.

Upcoming External Daylong Retreats with Alex Haley

Alex Haley will be teaching two upcoming Nine Bodies Insight daylong retreats appropriate for both new and continuing students. These retreats will be on Saturdays January 21st and February 18th. Full Moon Gatherings in 2023

In 2023 we will continue Minneapolis Insight's Full Moon Gatherings, hosted by Jean Haley and Jane Rauenhorst. Each month, on the full moon, we will come together to practice and offer support for reflection and re-commitment to the values and practices that give our lives meaning and balance. Full Moon Gatherings will begin in February. More information and dates available here.
